First time going to JP's The food is just phenomenal The crab meat is the best I've ever had. The food is a must everything great. I highly recommend this establishment. Service is very good very hospitable. Best of all when the whole island is jammed JP's is the place to be. The view from outside is beautiful. You can see Orchard beach from the out door seating. Beautiful views.

I have been coming to JP's restaurant now for many years, first with my parents and grandparents and now with my friends. My latest visit on June 13, 2024 did not disappoint. Their famous garlic bread is so good you cannot stop eating it even when you order an appetizer and an entree. It's just so delicious! I had the fried calamari as an appetizer and it tasted great. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful in giving good recommendations about the food as far as what dishes to get since they were undecided on what to order. I had the shrimp scampi with linguine and it tasted amazing being cooked in the scampi sauce. I wound up taking some of it home since I had eaten too much of the garlic bread and the appetizer. The atmosphere is beautiful as it overlooks Orchard Beach & the Long Island Sound. In conclusion, I had the chocolate cake for dessert which was rich and flavorful. The owner is a nice man who takes the time to say hello and ask how your food is !

FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESH AND WELL SEASONED. Been coming here for years. One of the only restaurants on the island that i do go to. Never thought to leave a review, but I happened to notice that somebody recently left a bad one, and I figure that I can balance that out with a good one. The food is simple and good. Perfectly seasoned and always fresh. Big portions of good food with a restaurant owner that takes pride in his product will keep me coming back so long as he's there.

1st off, don't be discouraged by the construction going on go around it's worth it! The food was delicious and great portions! As the sign says when you walk this place isn't a cheap eats but again worth it I'm definitely coming back!

Went for dinner and received stellar service. Angie, our server, was the best! She is knowledgeable and helpful. John is a great host and awesome bartender. As the menu says 'You only need one' The food is fresh and delicious with HUGE portions. We will be back. Thank you again.

You get what you pay for. The best shrimp I’ve had in over 10 years and I’m not kidding. Had the shrimp cocktail ( legit jumbo shrimp ) and shrimp scampi and still can’t believe how fresh and tasty it was, much better than 90% of other places I get shrimp from. Owner is very nice and sociable. Service was outstanding. 10/10 rating overall
